A fun, creative writing class for aspiring writers aged 10 – 15!

Our annual Mbari Story Lab kicks off in October.

It is a transformative six-week program where we nurture exciting first-draft scripts into polished, captivating narratives. In this intensive story development lab, participants will collaborate closely with assigned story consultants and receive personalised guidance and invaluable insights to elevate their storytelling craft.

WHAT YOU STAND TO GAIN:

• Gain access to a 3-week intensive story development lab

• Polish your first draft

• Pitch your story to studios and producers

CRITERIA:

• You must be 18 years and older, of African descent and a resident of an African country.

• The story/script is an original work of the writer and has not been sold or optioned, or previously produced by a Producer or studio.

• The story/script has not been developed in another story development lab or film school.

CLASS STRUCTURE:

• A hybrid 6-week writers' room, 3 days a week, 4 hours each. Replays are available.
