• Addressing the disparity in remuneration and representation for African screenwriters.

• Discussing the need for a unified accord similar to the Writers' Guild of America's Schedule of Minimums (Writers’ Pay Rates).

• Exploring strategies to establish a continental accord for writers' rights and fair compensation.

Grand Finale: Don't miss the grand finale of the SheWrites Story Conference, a hybrid event (physical and virtual) where we'll wrap up a weeklong of activities. Highlights of the finale include a keynote address to be delivered by veteran actress and filmmaker, Ms Joke Silva, who will also be receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award at the event.
